SS Ridgetown

Today’s Daily Photo consists of a moody view of a an ancient lake freighter, converted to good breakwater on Mississauga’s Link Credit waterfront. Originally made as the SS William Ourite. Corey in 1905, currently the freighter was renamed DURE Ridgetown in 1963 earlier than finally being scuttled to make a breakwater in 1974. 116 years after its start, the ghostly hull tends through fog in this think of by  Forum contributor Nwalsh .
